2010 Ballot Questions Talking Points
The Bloomfield Hills Schools Board of Education has voted to merge Andover and Lahser high schools as
part of our five-year Deficit Prevention Plan. Doing so will allow us to apply the anticipated $2.5 million in
annual savings to our instructional programs.
Given the pending consolidation and resulting need for expanded and improved space for our high
school students, the Board has voted to place two proposals on the November 2 general election ballot.
